Do my English documents need translating for AIMA?
No. AIMA accepts documents in English, French and Spanish without translation. Documents in any other language need a certified translation: by a Portuguese notary, a registrar, a lawyer or solicitador, a chamber of commerce or industry, or the consulate.
What is a translation with translator's declaration?
The translator signs a statement of accuracy (Declaração de Fidelidade), with signature, without a lawyer's or notary's certification. It is €49.99 per page (urgent €64.99), delivered in 24–48 hours, for private use and for use abroad.
Do you do sworn translations?
Portugal has no sworn translators. The Portuguese equivalent is the certified translation by a lawyer or notary, €99.99 per page. If an authority has asked you for one, tell us which authority and we confirm what it accepts.
Turnaround options?

Need an apostille?
